Sculpt a serving dish in the shape of a bear with a mountain scene in the design! Add a dip bowl with a snowflake or other pattern to create a matching set. Use slab clay and hand building techniques taught by our experienced potters with step by step instruction. Choose from shapes, patterns, and even lettering to create your own style. Once your pieces are dry, they are fired in our kiln.
Return after 2 weeks to paint your set with colorful pottery glazes (no additional cost and no appt. needed). Then it goes into the kiln again for a final firing so that it’s dishwasher/microwave/oven proof and food safe. Ready 2 weeks after painting. Ages 8 and up welcome!
Note: This workshop is sculpting clay at a table, not on the pottery wheel.
Admission: $55 per person, includes returning to glaze
