"Beans to Brushes" is an immersive journey that takes you through the art of coffee—from its aromatic roots at an amazing coffee tour by Traditions Coffee Roatery to its unexpected use as a medium for painting. This event is perfect for coffee lovers, art enthusiasts, and anyone curious to explore the creative side of coffee. Dive into the world of coffee-making, then transform those rich coffee tones into a masterpiece you’ll be proud to take home! No art or coffee experience is necessary! 

• 10:15 AM: Arrival and Welcome! 

Meet us at Da Dream Lab, where we'll begin with a brief introduction to set the stage for our caffeine-filled adventure. As soon as we have everyone we will walk over to Traditions Coffee Roasters (about a 2-minute walk).

• 10:30 - 11:30 AM: Coffee Roastery Tour

Take a behind-the-scenes tour of Tradition Coffee Roasters!Your coffee bean makes an incredible journey from the farm to the Tradition Coffee Roastery. The potential of each green bean is a dynamic variation of bean varietal, soil, weather, elevation and primarily, skill of the farmer. Once the beans arrive at our roastery, it becomes our roaster's turn to develop and discern the best coffee flavor.Learn how the flavor and aroma are created during roasting and get a behind-the-scenes look at how your morning cup of joe is crafted. Find out what makes good coffee, how to brew your best cup and bask in the smell and taste of fresh roasted coffee.

• 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM:  A short break to ask more questions at the Traditions, and order coffee beans or a coffee (or 2...or 3...) We will Meet back at Da Dream
  
• 12:00 - 1:00 PM: Coffee Paint Making!

Our art session begins by transforming coffee grounds and hyper-condensed coffee into a unique paint. Learn to mix and blend coffee into a natural, earthy medium ready for your artistic expression.

• 1:00 - 2:00 PM: Coffee Painting!

Painting WorkshopGet hands-on and creative! Using the coffee paint you've made, experiment with painting techniques that bring out different shades and textures, creating artwork that captures the essence of coffee from bean to brush.
