Marsden Road Community Centre will be hosting a Day Trip to Beamish
Tuesday 22nd April 2025
9.30am - 4pm
Join us for an action packed day going back in time to the world famous open air museum Beamish. Telling the story of life in North East England during the 1820s, 1900s, 1940s and 1950s.
There is so much to see and do from visiting the 1900's Town and Pit Village to the 1940's & 1950's Farms and the Rowley train station.
Go back to school and try out some playground games, Visit the Pit pony stables and also take a trip down the Mahogany Drift Mine. You can also pick up some traditional sweets at the Jubilee Confectioners Sweet Shop.
There are plenty of eateries to pick up lunch (**Not included in the price of day trip**)

Adults: £28.00
Senior/Student: £26.00
Child 5-16 years: £17.50
Child 2-4 years: £8.70
Under 2's FREE (No seat, sit on parents lap)
An Adult is a person aged from 17 years to 59 years (inclusive).
A Child is a person aged from 5 years to 16 years (inclusive). Children under the age of 14 will not be admitted without an adult.
A Senior is a person aged 60 years or over.
A Student is an Adult who holds any type of valid photographic identity card showing they are a student in full time education.
***(Please note these are single entry day tickets and can be only used on the assigned date of the 22nd April 2025 and not valid or any other date)***
The coach will leave Marsden Road Community Centre, Horsley Hill, NE34 6RE at 9.30am and arrive back at approx. 4pm
Please arrive no later than 9.15am for a prompt departure at 9.30am

***Price includes return coach and Day entry ticket only***
**All persons attending require a ticket, Under 2's are free but wont be allocated a seat and can be seated on parents lap but must be selected at time of booking**
Persons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, aged 18 or over at all times and children must be supervised at all times around the museum.
Missed Departure - Your ticket shows the departure point and time. You are responsible for ensuring that you are at the correct departure point at the correct time, and we cannot be liable for any loss or expense suffered by passengers because of their late arrival. Staff have a list of passengers attending and in the event of passengers not being at the arranged point they will endeavour to trace them. The coach will wait a reasonable time, but if a passenger is delayed or not able to join the coach early notification will avoid unnecessary delay and inconvenience to other passengers.
Cancellation - We do not offer a refund for cancelled tickets however, once the trip is fully booked (determined by all seats on the coach being sold) we will endeavour to re-sell any cancelled tickets and if successful we will refund monies. Marsden Road Community Centre accepts no liability for any loss incurred if the day trip does not go ahead due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, or if the trip departs but fails to arrive at the destination. As the trip has been paid for in advance we will still be going ahead despite unfavourable weather conditions.
Passengers with disabilities - Should you or a member of your party have any medical conditions or disability that may affect the excursion/day trip please advise us prior to confirming the booking so that we can advise you as to the suitability of the excursion/day trip. If a passenger requires assistance then they must travel with an able bodied carer or friend. We will make every effort to accommodate the passenger.
