This embroidered agate slice class will be held at the Art Lounge in Anchorage AK. You'll learn how to use 3-4 embroidery stitches, how to backstitch beads and how to finish an embroidery piece. All materials will be provided for you and are included in the price of the course. In your kit you will receive on pre-painted embroidery hoop, three bags of beads of your choice, embroidery floss, embroidery needles, a chunk of beeswax and beading thread. It is recommended to have some base embroidery knowledge for this course but it is not required. Like most fiber arts, embroidery takes time and everyone works at their own pace. It is possible that you will not finish your piece within the 4 hours of the course but I will provide materials for you to finish your piece at home. Due to the time constraints of this course the agate slice hoops will be pre-painted. I will have a wide range of color options but if there is one you prefer for your course please contact me through email ([email protected]) or on instagram @AkWildRoseCo at least 48 hours before your course and I will do my best to accommodate you.
