We are so pleased to present this Beading Workshop: Bead Looming 101 with Magenta from Leather Sage!
Join us Wednesday July 31st, from 6-9pm! This 3 hour class will be lead by Magenta, owner of Leather Sage, a full time artist who works primarly with leather and beading and has 10+ years of experience. You will have the unique opportunity to learn all about the basics of bead looming from an absolute expert. She will cover all of the basics of bead looming, no experience neccessary!
This workshop will be held at Edgewater Public Market, within Barquentine Brewing hosted by Olive Patina.
In this class you will learn:
All of the bead looming basics! This is a level one workshop. You will learn everything you need to make your first loom-beaded bracelet or keychain.
Learn how to thread your loom with the right tension, plan and bead a design, and tie off the loose ends.
Take home a full loom kit: your loom, 3 different colors of seed beads, a specialty beading needle, beading felt… and the knowledge to keep creating with your bead loom at home!
Included in the class: 1 drink ticket, 3 hours of artist lead direction in the basics of bead looming, full loom kit and printed instructions to continue your new craft at home!
The class will go from 6-9ish and will be held in the Barquentine Brewing Company workshop room which is inside of Edgewater Public Market.
