Be Creative Zone has partnered with Surfrider beach cleanups to treasure hunt, sort and select items we can use in Funky Art projects. Surfrider helps to keep the beaches clean and we take it one step further and save stuff from the landfill for future Funky ART projects. Bring a friend or two. We can use lots of help sorting during the busy summer months.Meet next to Surfrider's tent. We (Be Creative Zone our non profit) will have a table with bins for sorting out the treasures. We sort by returnables ($), recyclables (blue bin), then trash. We then carefully go thru the trash to see what we can clean and use for future upcycling and fun art projects.
Bags and gloves will be provided by Surfrider, but they encourage you to bring your own reusable supplies if you have them.
8:30 to 9:30 - beach cleanup
9:30 to 12:00 - help with sorting all the stuff - Eco Treasure Picking
