Beach Clean up @ Amager Beachpark
Spring is here, and the light is back. Litter and trash are hiding in the sand, so let's meet to clean up our beach and enjoy some time together. Every action matters in keeping our ocean clean.
Join us on Wednesday the 23rd April from 17.30 - 20.00 at Amager Beach.
We are happy to announce partnering with Nordic Ocean Watch Denmark (NOW) who will provide knowledge and guidance. NOW's mission is to engage people in meaningful, hands-on actions, promote knowledge sharing, and foster a community of ocean watchers united in their commitment to protecting the marine environment. Their slogan "Tavaha" (Take care of the Ocean aligns perfect with one of Copenwater’s main pillars ; “We take care of the ocean”!

17:30 Meetup and welcome by our Nordic Ocean Watch and Copenwater team.
17.45-18.45 Cleanup on Amager Beach Park and sorting of waste - Citizen Science in action!
18:45 BBQ & hygge at Copenwater HQ at Amager Beachpark - bring your swimsuit and towel for a dip in the sea and sauna.

This event will be in English, with an option for Danish translation.
TOWEL COLLECTION; Do you have any towels with nice patterns and in good shape, but you are not really using them anymore, then bring them to donate to our partner “Bølgen Blå” who will upcycle them into the nicest beach stuff.
