BEACH & SAUNA // ANAHATA // ECSTATIC DANCE BRIGHTON

Join ECSTATIC DANCE BRIGHTON & SAUNA CORNER for an Ecstatic Dance on the beach - (silent disco style) followed by optional hang out time together at the Lido & Sauna!

Nature dances are incredible!! Every time we are amazed at the beauty and inspiration that comes from dancing outside. This session we will be at SALTDEAN and with the tide out you'll be able to dance on the sand, shingles and around the rockpools!

On a Sunday afternoon we are welcoming families and children and have a 2 for 1 offer for kids under 16. Children are welcome to join at the lido and sauna too!

Anahata, well loved resident at EDUK in London, will be playing an Ecstatic Dance Journey including a welcoming circle and warm up.

Following the dance join us at Saltdean Lido & Sauna 530-730pm with leaf whisking and other sauna suprises!! We'll have a downtempo playlist and lots of time to hang out. The space will be completely ours from 6pm.

3-5pm Ecstatic Dance. (Arrive at 250pm to check in and get your headsets.)

Where

Parking: free parking in the car park opposite Saltdean Lido

Bus: from Brighton #27

Dance: From the Lido walk towards the seafront, down a paved footpath and via the tunnel that goes under the main road. Our team will meet you at the beach end of the tunnel to point you in the right direction.

Sauna: Saltdean Lido (5 mins walk from the beach)

Bring

Beach shoes you can dance in if your feet get cold. Towel if you want to dry after. Warm layers for once the sun sets. Rucksack/Bumbag so you don't need to leave your valuables on the beach! Water bottle, snacks, warm drinks!

Please note you are welcome to dance in the water however if headphones fall in the water you will need to pay to replace them at £25.

This is a strictly no recreational drugs or alcohol event!

Refunds will be offered only if the event is cancelled by the hosts. You can sell your ticket on via our whatsapp or facebook groups.

The Lido cafe closes about 6pm. You can pick up hot drinks/food from the Undercliff Cafe on the beach before coming to the lido.

We look forward to seeing you at the sauna! Here's a few details to help you prepare:

We have a hot shower, changing space and toilet, but please do come as prepared as possible. Outdoor/beach-style changing is a much quicker option, so bring your dry-robe or changing towel if you can :)

We have lovely grass for under-foot but do bring sea-shoes or flip-flops if you may fancy a dash down to the Sea.

Please bring a small towel to sit on in the sauna, along with your towel for drying off at the end.

We also have drinking water, herbal teas and vessels so no need to worry about that, but also bring a water bottle if you like.

Combining a love for dance with healing intention these sessions are created for you to dive into your own innate potential for self transformation through freeform movements and with a great soundtrack!

You are invited to use the dance floor as a tool for your personal development and discover a new lease of life.

Ecstatic Dance helps if you feel stuck or weighed down, your body feels sluggish or tired, you need some more fun and playfulness in your life, you would like to experiment with free movement and discover your own body expression, you just love music and dance!

No dance skill or experience is necessary! Movement may include walking, rolling, stretching, raging, shaking or anything you feel inspired to embody.
