About this Event
Forager is thrilled to welcome artist Nat Ushijima to our studio for a one-of-a-kind workshop. If you’ve been craving a safe space to explore your relationship with yourself, quiet the external noise, and connect with other women in an authentic and supportive environment—this is for you.
"Be Your Own Muse" is a transformative art workshop for womxn, nonbinary, and femme folk, created to open a dialogue with how you perceive yourself. Through a brief, curated 1:1 photo session, you’ll discover your most authentic, embodied pose—a moment of truth and self-connection. From there, you’ll have the chance to trace and incorporate your unique form into a custom art piece with paint & gold leaf, symbolizing your journey toward self-acceptance and honoring the energy you want to embrace.
In this shared space, surrounded by chocolate, fruits, and music, we’ll nurture self-expression, vulnerability, and connection with one another. You’ll leave with your custom art piece and a curated photo capturing this personal moment, ready to continue your path of self-reclamation.
No drawing experience is required—just a willingness to meet yourself where you are and begin this meaningful journey in the collective spirit of women supporting women.

About the Artist
Nat is a visionary multidisciplinary artist whose work delves into the intricate connection between the female form and the narratives women carry. Drawing from her own journey and experiences, Nat’s art explores embodiment, self-reclamation, and the power of personal transformation. She creates pieces that challenge traditional representations of women, offering a space for them to see themselves as they truly are—complex, multifaceted, and deeply powerful.
Integrating themes of decolonization and liberation, Nat’s work seeks to break free from oppressive norms and reclaim the autonomy of the female body and spirit. Through her workshops, collective care gatherings, and one-on-one art collaborations, Nat fosters an environment where women can reconnect to their bodies, honor their stories, and embrace their physical, energetic, and psychological selves.
