We’re thrilled to share that we’ve secured a fantastic lineup of musicians for the next six weeks! *

The Watermelon Mountain Jug Band and Jim Jones have the honor of being the first musicians to perform at RGCSL’s Solid Grounds Coffeehouse opening on June 14th. We're looking forward to packing the house and having a great time. Mark your calendars and tell your friends. We'd love to see you there!

* Full calendar coming soon!

The Watermelon Mountain Jug Band has been entertaining audiences, young and old, since 1975. True to the original 1920’s jug bands of the South, their music comes alive with washboard, jug, kazoo, washtub bass, spoons, guitar and banjo. The band delights audiences with country, bluegrass, jug band, ragtime, Spanish and original music and even some rock ’n roll classics.

Jim Jones has won three Western Heritage Wrangler Awards, the 2019 International Western Music Association Song of the Year, and Western Writers of America Spur Awards for Best Western Song three times. He was the Western Music Association’s 2014 Male Performer of the Year and is part of the trio, The Cowboy Way, which has received the IWMA’s Group of the Year Award six times. His Western novels include the Jared Delaney series, the Tommy Stallings series and the Bolo the Brave children’s series.
Eager volunteers are always welcome!
Volunteering isn’t just about giving your time; it’s about being part of something bigger. Our RGCSL Solid Grounds Coffeehouse aims to build a strong community where everyone feels welcome and nourished. Plus, you’ll meet incredible people, learn new skills, and have fun along the way.

If you see yourself as an usher, greeter, shopper, baker, webmaster, marketer or promoter, please contact Robyn Rice Olmstead at 818-300-3911.
