In Tropical's formative years we hosted a free Valentine's Day party which sometimes also featured free smoothies and even mixtapes.
In. honor of that, we gave away 10 free spaces on launch this time, and those went on Day 1, but we still have lots of tickets at $5 and $10, as well as the $20 tickets which represent the actual cost of the event.
Since we're on a slim budget offering so many free and cheap tickets, we also gave the opportunity to make an extra donation which gets split evenly amongst the djs who are all playing below well below their normal rates in order to make this party affordable for everyone who needs it that way.
It's an experiment in putting all tickets on sale at once rather than timed tiers, allowing people to select the level they can afford to support ❤️ so far so good!
Please don't think that because the tickets are cheap, or that there is going to be any less of production quality from normal.
You can still look forward to a cutely decorated venue with nice sound and lights and a friendly Tropical atmosphere like always. If anything we are doing more because we are bringing back the free late night smoothies.
Speaking of venue, this will be out 3rd time at Tropical's favorite little spot in Hawthorne. This is a BYOB spot and there's a liquor store a few blocks away if you forget or just want to stock up close to. 21 plus with ID always!
