Recreate the magic of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood of Make-Believe at Be My Neighbor Day!
The annual celebration of “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood” will return with hands-on activities throughout the Twin Cities PBS (TPT) Lowertown Studios in downtown St. Paul. It will be a "tigertastic" time - you won't want to miss it!
Move through the event to enjoy fun activities and a meet & greet with Daniel Tiger!
Enjoy a variety of activities:
- Meet Daniel Tiger from the popular PBS Kids series “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood”.
- Make a magnet to thank a favorite teacher.
- Create a mask or puppet of your favorite character from “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood”.
- Craft friendship bracelets with pipe cleaners and beads.
- Enjoy other hands-on activities from local community partners.
- Explore the Neighborhood of Make-Believe with interactive sets.
- Watch an episode of “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood”.
- Enjoy snacks and beverages, courtesy of Kowalski’s Markets.
- And so much more!
In addition to our sensory-friendly timeslot on Saturday, November 15, a quiet room presented by Fraser will be available on both Friday and Saturday. Click here to register for our sensory-friendly timeslot.
Each timeslot allows 55 minutes on the main activity floor and unlimited time in our Street Space with our movement and snack sponsors.*
Ways to get to TPT:
Metro Transit: Taking Metro Transit to Be My Neighbor Day is an excellent choice! Click here for a Free Ride pass.
Parking: Paid parking is available in the Lowertown Ramp, which is accessible from both Jackson Street and Sibley Street. The ramp is connected to the TPT offices, and guests should take the elevator to Level K (skyway level) to check-in at our registration area.

Important notes:
- Please let families that need support for that time slot (3:00 pm on Saturday, November 15). The sensory-friendly time slot will include a lower level of music and lights along with a low-pressure Daniel Tiger meet & greet.
- In addition to our sensory-friendly timeslot, a quiet room presented by Fraser will be available both Friday and Saturday.
- All attendees must register for a specific time to attend this event.
- Maximum of six tickets per registration.
- Please register kids and adults separately.
- Each timeslot allows 55 minutes on the main activity floor and unlimited time in our Street Space with our movement and snack sponsors.*
- If possible, please leave strollers and wagons in the car.
- Space is limited for this event, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
*Final timeslot of the day allows 30 minutes in our Street Space.
