About this Event
Unleash your wild, creative spirit!
Join us for our immersive, weekly Papercraft and Textiles Workshop Series hosted at the inspiring BE Wildflower Farm—a space proudly owned, operated, and run by women. This workshop is more than just a craft class; it's an opportunity to learn beautiful, sustainable skills while directly supporting our mission of creating jobs and opportunities for women.
Dive into a unique Botanic Experience where creativity meets conservation! Every week brings a new, hands-on focus, allowing you to connect your art directly to the beauty and ecology of the Hill Country. You can sign up for a single session to learn a new skill, or commit to the full series for a complete immersion in sustainable artistry!
What You Will Create and Learn:
- Earth-Friendly Papermaking: Master the art of crafting custom paper infused with seeds and native Wildflower petals—paper you can actually plant!
- Upcycled Art: Transform discarded materials, like repurposed book pages, into elegant paper flowers, wreaths, and decor.
- Natural Dye Alchemy: Experiment with natural pigments from elements like beetroot, turmeric, and Wildflower petals to naturally dye beautiful textiles.
By participating in this recurring workshop, you not only connect with a supportive community but also contribute to our vital mission of supporting native plants and pollinators in the Hill Country area, making the environment a better place.
Come be wild, be creative, and make a difference!
