North Vancouver RCMP is excited to announce the introduction of its new Auxiliary Program, providing a unique volunteer opportunity for community members passionate about public safety. The program offers extensive training and the chance to work alongside RCMP officers in various supportive roles.Volunteers will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills in emergency planning, crime prevention, and community outreach, while playing a crucial role in enhancing community safety and supporting North Vancouver RCMP.
Auxiliaries are trained and authorized to perform non-enforcement community policing and crime prevention activities such as:
community/special events.
home and business safety checks, safety talks and activities.
traffic and crowd control.
disaster planning and emergency preparedness assistance.
searches for lost persons.

Applications are now open, and North Vancouver RCMP encourages individuals from all backgrounds to apply. Candidates can learn more and express their interest by visiting our Auxiliary Program website.
The next recruiting information session will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the North Vancouver RCMP Detachment. Attendance is mandatory in order to apply. Interested participants are asked to pre-register by emailing the program coordinator at [email protected].
