About this Event
Future space missions will return soil samples from other planets that maycontain microscopic life—but how will we know if it’s there? Investigate an Earthmicrobe (yeast) and design a test for the presence of similar microbes inunknown soil samples. For ages 7-9.
The Be a Space Scientist! curriculum invites children to take the role of scientists and engineers as theyinvestigate the challenges of exploring and traveling in space. The activities encourage scientific practices likemaking observations and testing hypotheses while exploring the big ideas.
GSK Science in the Summer is made possible by GSK, Franklin Institue, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
