About this Event
Be a Sexpert. Get the facts on sexual health.
Come join CARE Canada at The Sheldon & Tracy Levy Student Learning Centre (SLC) Amphitheatre, Toronto Metropolitan University for an informative event all about sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR)! Whether you're looking to learn more about safe practices, contraception, or just want to be more informed, this event is perfect for you. Our Youth Champions will be there to answer all your burning questions and provide you with the knowledge you need to make informed decisions about your sexual health and put it in a global context.
We want to hook you up with the knowledge YOU need about sexual health and reproductive rights to have informed, stigma-free conversations. There are a lot of myths and misconceptions about sexual health in Canada and globally. We are inviting TMU students to separate facts from fiction in a trivia game called ‘Be a Sexpert’.You will be challenged with SRHR questions that test your knowledge and bust common myths. Those who score high will earn the chance to step inside our interactive “cash booth,” where they can grab as many paper bills as possible and redeem them for sex-positive prizes - but in the end, knowledge is the real prize.
This is a chance for you to step up as informed advocates and critical voices in national and international conversations about SRHR.
