About the workshop:

In this experiential workshop we will explore embodied consent as boundary practice. Participants will learn the basics of connection and consent, build body awareness, and practice boundary-setting through dance and movement. No prior dance experience is required, just a willingness to move.

This workshop is great for anyone who is interested in developing an inner sense of consent and practicing giving and receiving no. Your yes means nothing if you can't say no!
"Be a Pro at Saying No" is part of the Reflection, Healing & Movement" series. These programs take place in Studio 7, a fully accessible ground floor level studio.

About Nikki Li:

Nikki Li, MA, R-DMT (she/they) is a Chinese-born movement artist, Dance/Movement Therapist, and relational therapist based in Boston, Massachusetts. Nikki values creativity and centers movement and arts in daily practice. She has fallen in love with many dance forms including Chinese traditional dance, contemporary, hiphop, waacking, and fusion partnering. Nikki is passionate about promoting connection, inclusiveness, and sense of belonging in her community through artistic expression and dance. She facilitates workshops locally and internationally to advocate for arts and creativity for holistic healing.
