Black Potion Coffee Roaster and Brussels Coffee Week present you Beat The Bean - A free method brewers cup.-About the event-
WHAT
A free method brewers cup! You can choose any filter method you like, from Aeropress or Kalita to V60 or Chemex.
27 contestants will fight for the 1st place by competing in 3 phases. You will be in groups of 3 people, from every group the winner goes to the next round.
You receive the coffee 2 weeks in advance from Black Potion. Everyone receives the same coffee. Because the coffee will be send to your home address we ask a 6€ fee to compete. We kindly ask you to bring the 6€ to the competition with you and pay at the door.
You have 8min to brew your coffee.
You bring your own material, filtered water and grinder will be available.
- Kicker tournament -
During the Brewers Cup there will also be a kicker tournament. All the people who could not qualify for the next round in the brewers cup get a second chance in the kicker tournament. The one person who wins in the end gets a ticket to the final of the brewers cup.

We have some BIG things for you to win!
1st place brewers cup: the precision brewer thermal from Sage + 2 bags of Black Potion coffee + 1 beer
2nd place brewers cup: 2 kg of Black Potion coffee + 1 bag of Geisha from Black Potion + 1 beer
3rd place brewers cup: 1 origami + 250 grams of Black Potion coffee + 1 beer
1st place kicker tournament: qualification for the final of the brewers cup + 5 beers + 250 grams of Black Potion coffee
2nd place kicker tournament: 2 beers + 250 grams of Black Potion coffee.
