African-American seniors planning to attend BCTC in Fall 2024 are invited to learn about the Aspire Scholarship & Summer Bridge Program.
About this Event

African-American seniors planning to attend BCTC in Fall 2024 are invited to learn and get assistance with applying for the BCTC Aspire & Summer Bridge. Bridge to Success Summer Program (BSSP) is a 7-week non-residential academic enrichment program designed to ease the transition from high school to college. Students will have the opportunity to take 2 FREE Summer Courses, learn more about BCTC resources and participate in social and cultural activities. BSSP is FREE for participants and will allow students to begin building connections that will help them throughout their academic careers. BSSP will meet 3 days (Tues.-Thurs.) a week from June 17, 2024- August 2, 2024, on the BCTC Newtown Campus. Please share this wonderful opportunity with students who plan to attend BCTC in Fall 2024 and meet the eligibility criteria below. If you have any questions, please let me know.

BSSP Eligibility

1. Must Black/African American first-time student planning to attend BCTC in the upcoming Fall

2. High School Grade Point Average of 2.0 or higher

3. Must have a completed FAFSA

4. Have a completed program application
