To close out the 2025 Summer Film Series, the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute is proud to present Ain’t No Back on the Merry-Go-Round in partnership with the Harry B. Maring Community Enrichment Fund of the Birmingham Jewish Foundation.
This documentary highlights the 1960 integration of Glen Echo Amusement Park in Maryland, a story of courageous interfaith activism that helped move the civil rights movement forward.
In the spirit of that collaboration, we’ll begin the evening with an Intercommunity Networking Hour. Join us early to make meaningful connections and explore shared values.
