we now have four Championship height sections: 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 100cm. To qualify you must either gain a top 10 placing or ONE double clear at the same height at any BE or unaffiliated event (BRC, PC & NSEA ODEs included).To qualify your pony must be a pure-bred or part-bred Connemara registered with, or in the case of imported ponies, overstamped by the BCPS and listed on the UK database. . You must also ensure that the correct owner is recorded in the pony’s passport.
You do not need to be a member of the BCPS to qualify but to compete in the Finals, the owner or rider of the pony must also be an Adult, Junior, Joint or Family member of the BCPS. You can find out more about becoming a member on our Memberships and Fees page, or buy membership now in our Shop
Please email proof of qualification at 70,80,90 or 100cm to [email protected] . Results must be from October 2024 – 22nd September 2025. You will not be able to enter the final without your qualification being logged. Please note we will not be accepting results for Arena Eventing or Express Eventing
Lands Eventing will be running a stand-alone One Day Event alongside the BCPS Eventing Championship Finals. These classes do not require qualification. BCPS Special Rosettes will be awarded to registered Connemaras and Part Breds competing in these classes. Please tick the relevant box on the Lands Eventing entry form. A top ten placing or a double clear in these classes will qualify for the 2026 BCPS Eventing Championship Finals.
