BCPL Presents Henna Mixology & Design Workshop For TeensIn this “magic kitchen”-style workshop, participants will watch and learn as their instructor prepares fresh, natural henna paste, and will be invited to engage the five senses to assess the process at each step.
Participants will learn about the ingredients used by henna professionals and the role each ingredient plays in producing a rich, dark stain.
After preparing a batch of paste, participants are invited to try their hand at crafting a tool called a "henna cone,” before being provided with a prepared cone for their use. Participants will create safe, temporary body art designs on paper while professional design application is demonstrated by the instructor, as supplies last.
