The Paddlesport Touring Leader Leader is a great award to really develop your leadership skills in a wide environment from any craft. Even if you are not looking to go onto assessment the training can really help you move your paddling on. The training for this course takes two days where we will look at all aspects of running grade 1 with simple grade 2 white water and exploring moderate open water up to 500m offshore. We will look both on how to paddle the water effectively and also leading and managing groups in that environment. The assessment guidance we will be exploring is available here:
