The BC wide Portrait competition and Exhibition is taking place on February 5th at the Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Center (located at 26770 29th Ave, Aldergrove BC). This competition will be hosted in tandem with an exhibition showcasing artists from the Langley’s to North Vancouver and beyond. Throughout the exhibition, we will be hosting a live painting event, where the public will be invited to watch 9 selected artists create a portrait in their own unique style.
This competition is timed, and features 3 notable members of the community as sitters. once time is up, paintbrushes and pencils are laid down for the jurors to deliberate, only one winner is chosen, alongside two honorable mentions.
