We're having a live band night! Four of our local WCS community members have formed a band - One Night's Band - and they're going to play some live sets for us to dance to! DJ James will play dead (non-live, but still great) music between the live sets. :)Where: Bonsor Recreation Complex, 6550 Bonsor Avenue, Burnaby, BC V5H 3G4 (in the "Banquet Hall")
When: Saturday February 7th, 2026
Doors: 7:30 pm
Social Dance: 8:00pm - 11:30pm

Band Bio: One Night's Band emerged from the Vancouver West Coast Swing community with a simple question: What if we could dance to live music more often?
This five-piece band brings together WCS dancers who understand what makes a song work on the dance floor—because they're out there dancing themselves.
Playing pop and blues favourites, they've rehearsed for months to play curated covers of songs you know and love.
Cost(s):
*Prices are different than usual to support the band and pay for additional costs*
Social Dance: Members: $22 / Non-Members: $25 / Students: $12
For the safety of everyone, please do not bring breakable water bottles (glass, ceramic, etc.) into the dance areas.
And remember to bring your non-marking indoor shoes!
