About this Event
The Cancer Studies Research Group based at The Christie School of Oncology & Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute play a major role in allowing Specialist Registrars in Clinical & Medical Oncology to fulfil the academic side of their training. This programme is run as a 5 day lecture series and includes examination practice sessions. Monday to Wednesday will focus on molecular biology & immunotherapy and Thursday and Friday will cover pharmacology and chemotherapy.
Low-to-Middle-Income Country (LMIC) course fees are offered at a 50% reduction. Countries eligible for LMIC reduced rate can be found here. Countries listed under the headings "Low-Income Economies" and Lower-Middle-Income Economies" will be considered. Target Audience
The teaching is designed for trainee medical and clinical oncologists and incorporates the FRCR part 1 syllabus including candidates for the Royal College FRCR part 1 examinations.

Teaching method
Due to the ongoing uncertainty around the pandemic, this 5-day teaching programme will run over live streamed zoom. Zoom link details will be emailed to all candidates upon Eventbrite registration. The lecture and exam practice sessions will be recorded and link to the recordings available to registered candidates until end of September 2023 in line with the RCR FRCR 1 Spring and Autumn 2023 examinations
