Ko te wā ki te whakanui te Reo Māori! It's time to celebrate te Reo Māori!
To celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori - Māori Language week as well as the 43rd anniversary of the Māori Language Petition being presented to parliament, the Bays will celebrate with a collection of kapa haka performances from local schools and the community kapa haka, Aru Wairere.
Everyone is welcome to come and watch kapa haka performances from the Torbay Junior and Senior Kapa Haka, Northcross Intermediate, Long Bay College and whānau friendly community kapa haka, Aru Wairere, show their love for te reo me te ao Māori.
