Gumbo and Jambalaya Cookoff - sign up to be a cooking team or come out to eat all the amazing food being prepared. 10 dollar tickets allows you to taste all the food and vote on your favorite. Teams sign ups are $100 to enter all three categories. 3 first-place prizes awarded @ 100 dollars each. Best Gumbo. Best Jambalaya. Best Decorations. Kids area with obstacle course, games, face painting, hot dogs, king cake and crawfish races!!All money raised at this event is to support the work of Bloom Community Services - serving individuals with disabilities in the Lake Houston Area.
