We are excited to announce that the Bayleys Gumboot Run is returning in 2024!Set to take place on the 2nd of November 2024 around our Awa.
The Gumboot Run is more than just a walk or run; it's an opportunity for our community to come together and support mental health initiatives in our community. All proceeds from the event will go to Whanganui Community Living Trust helping to provide vital support services for mental health in our community.
Event Timeline:
10:00 - 10:50am - Participant check-in
10:00am - Welcome and warm up
11:00am - Walkers released first, then runners
12:15pm - Kids Dash event - a short fun run for the kids
12:30pm - Prizegiving
Spot prizes, free BBQ, live band and entertainment, a fun kids dash, and dress-ups encouraged!
