Event Overview:
We’re celebrating 5 years of the Bay to Beach Swim! 🌊 Join us for the fifth annual Bay to Beach ‘24 on Saturday, 30th November, and be a part of this iconic charity ocean swim along the stunning coastline from First Bay to Main Beach, Coolum Beach. Whether you're competing for a medal or just having fun with friends, your participation will help raise vital funds for Coolum Beach SLSC to purchase lifesaving equipment.
Race Options:
Competitive Race: Ready to race? Compete for the win in this thrilling 1.2 km swim.
Mates Race: Not feeling competitive? Take a more relaxed approach and cruise through the course with your mates.
Who Can Swim?
Swimmers aged 12 and up are welcome (T&Cs apply).
Event Goodies:
All participants will receive an official Bay to Beach ‘24 t-shirt and a bag of goodies donated by our generous sponsors (t-shirt guaranteed only if tickets are purchased by 3rd November). Don't miss out!

Event Day Details:
Registration: Opens at 5.30am, closes 6:15am followed by Welcome and Safety Briefing. Wave times will be released closer to the event
BBQ: Bacon, eggs, and sausages will be sizzling at the beach for swimmers and supporters to enjoy post-race! 🌭🍳
Safety: Lifeguards and water safety officers will be on the course to ensure everyone stays safe.
Weather: In the event of extreme weather, the swim will be rescheduled. Follow this page for updates closer to the event.
