The City of Pensacola invites the public to give their input as it embarks on preserving Bay Bluffs Park, in coordination with Conservation Florida. A public listening session is scheduled for:o Tuesday, October 22, 2025
o 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
o Vickrey Resource Center, 2130 Summit Blvd.
The Bay Bluffs Park project represents a significant investment in Pensacola's park system and in preserving its cultural significance. This public listening session will provide residents with the opportunity to learn about the project's scope and offer input that will help shape the future design of the site.
Thanks to a $2.2 million state grant awarded to the city and Conservation Florida, the city is now ready to begin work on returning public access to the park. It has been closed for two years after the boardwalk system was determined too dangerous to remain open following storms and progressive deterioration.
This listening session is the first step in a process to reopen the park. The feedback gained at this event will help as the city begins the design phase.
For those unable to attend the Oct. 22 meeting, an online survey is available through Nov. 5.
