After a pandemic hiatus, we’re back and excited to resume our important mission of connecting filmmakers throughout the Bay Area.
Since 2012, the Bay Area Film Mixer has produced quarterly mixer events bringing the Bay Area independent film market together. Come get inspired, build connections, and find work and camaraderie!
We know you all have produced some amazing work over the past couple years, and we want to see it!! We're looking for reels, trailers, shorts (under 10 minutes), clips, scenes from all disciplines and will be showcasing the best of the best in our Screening Series.

We do not enforce any type of dress code. This is a professional networking event so come dressed decent enough for you to get hired by someone if that case presents itself.
Actors: you only need to bring 2-3 headshots; we will have a table for producers/directors to peruse headshots.
Business Cards: bring enough to cover all the conversations you plan on having (so bring a lot!)
We'll be screening short works from Bay Area productions in the theater space around 8pm (announcements will keep you updated when it starts).
Our events are geared towards finding filmmakers and talent work here in the Bay, and the best way to achieve that is to spread the word about our mixers! So please share -- tell your friends in the business, have them share about the event, and let the word spread -- the more filmmakers that are aware of our event, the more opportunities we'll all have! Regarding Covid Safety: If you have been feeling any amount of sickness, please do not come. We will reimburse your ticket. We do require proof of vaccination to participate in this network event.

COVID PROTOCOL: Everyone must show proof of full vaccination to enter PianoFight, no exceptions. We will comply with all local, state, and federal requirements in effect at time of show. We reserve the right to add additional requirements that we deem necessary to keep our staff, artists, and audiences safe.
PARKING: Street parking is free after 6pm. We’re located 2 blocks from Powell BART, numerous muni lines and there are 3 parking lots within 1 block.
ACCESSIBILITY: PianoFight's restaurant, bar, and both theaters are fully ADA accessible.
AGE REQUIREMENT: 21+ only.
