Four men. One vision. Hard pop.BAUPLAN are an original band playing a style they call Hard Pop, a heady mixture of power pop, indie, classic rock and new wave. Critics have praised their unique sound; "Costello/ Squeeze/Nick Lowe oriented rock pop with a tinge of blue eyed soul. Hammond organ swells and guitars and rhythm grind with grit. A big sound and good tunes." The band will be following up their outstanding debut with the forthcoming second album, One Quarter Bulletproof (Rotown Records).
