About this Event
Curated by poet Ahmed Kaysher, and hosted by RadhaRaman Society in collaboration with Saudha (www.saudha.org) and Keats House, the festival offers a series of ecstatic performances of Bengali Baul & Vaishnav music by number of Baul and Vaishnav music and dance, recitation from the ancient texts by leading spoken-word artists, brief discussion on these two major philosophical movement of Indian sub-continent that evolved from Hindu and Muslim (Sufi) faith and had hugely influenced the music, literature, arts of the whole sub-continent.
The session at Keats House will feature hypnotic recital of spiritual Vaishnav music merging with spiritually inclined poetry and the idea of spirituality of a major English poet John Keats.
