OVERVIEW
A BattleTech tournament held at the Game Shoppe – Bellevue. Three scenarios, timed, with random initial pairings and swiss pairings after that. At the end of the three scenarios, the player with the best win / loss record will be declared the winner, with ties broken by cumulative score across all three games, and lowest force BV.
$10 entry fee for each player participating. Fees are collected by the store who will provide prizes and store credit for the top players. The store is accepting pre-registration. The Tournament has limited space for 16 players. More may be added at the description of the store.
A Best Paint prize will also be provided. To be considered for Best Paint, all units must have a base coat and at least three different colors applied to the mini. Store staff will be the sole judge for Best Paint.
To participate, players will need to bring a constructed force totaling no more than 7,500 BV with the era and faction locked. Force must have a minimum of 2 mechs and can have as many as 4 mechs and 2 combat vehicles. Minimum skill is 3, maximum skill is 6, and skills must be within 2 of each other. Proxies are permitted. Select proxies that are representative of the size of the unit. For example, using a Locust to proxy for an Atlas may cause confusion.
Each time slot will be two and half hours with the scenarios running for two hours and 15 minutes. A winner will be determined based on the scoring.
CODE OF CONDUCT
This tournament is for players of all ages who enjoy the game of Battletech. The Judges reserve the right to disqualify any player who is disruptive to the enjoyment of all players. Repeated use of foul or inappropriate language and poor behavior will not be tolerated.
Schedule
10:00 AM – Registration and sign up
11:00 AM – Scenario 1
1:30 PM – Lunch
2:00 PM – Scenario 2
4:30 PM – Scenario 3
7:00 PM – Awards and wrap up
There will be a total of three scenarios: Pitched Battle, Signal Triangulation, and Battleship.
The maximum score across the three scenarios is 244 Victory Points.
First prize will be determined by the best “Win – Loss” record, with ties broken first by total Victory Points across all scenarios, and then by lowest force BV.
