Battletech Day: The Lost Relics of Dromni (Scenario play)

The year is 3039. After the Gray Death Legion's discovery of the Helm Memory Core, many lost technologies have started to resurface in the war-torn Inner Sphere. Not to be left behind, Great House, Mercenary and Pirates alike have shifted their attention to finding caches from a by-gone era.
Welcome to the Dromni system, an area once controlled by the Terran Hegemony, now under the claws of the Draconis Combine. It is hotly contested by the Dragon and its neighbour the Lyran Commonwealth. It has recently been discovered that a cache of coveted Star League relics rests on one of the worlds. You and your forces have come to the Dromni to "liberate" whatever is left.
DATE: Saturday June 8, 2024
TIME: 12:00-4:00pm
Up to 2 tables are setup to represent an objective based game of Classic Battletech, where you and other players may bring up to 4000BV worth of 'mechs. This smaller force is to represent a unit built for smashing and grabbing.
These 'mechs must be of 55 tons or less, and when running multiple units, a minimum of 1 light and 1 medium 'mech must be taken to represent your force. All units may have their pilot skills upgraded up to the BV limit. (Pilot skills must be within 1 of each other. Example: 3/4 is valid, so is 4/4, but not 3/5.)
TECH LEVEL:
We are allowing anything from Star League to Succession War - Renaissance Era.
Players are to primarily hunt for objectives to bring back to their board edge. To do this, 'mechs must scan buildings - which occurs at during the End Phase. They must be in base to base contact, or within 3 hexes if carrying an Active Probe. Objectives when found, can be picked up the following turn by placing your 'mech adjacent to the objective's hex during the Movement phase. To pick up an objective, a 'mech must not have fired or executed a physical attack.
Secondary objectives and 'mech kills will contribute to player scores. May be the best commander win!
PLAYERS SHOULD USE THE 'MASTER UNIT LIST' WEBSITE TO CONSTRUCT THEIR FORCE!
(just google "Battletech Master Unit List")
Any 'mechs listed on the MUL are rated as 4/5 pilots. Please refer to the chart on the webpage.
Alternate Ammo types may be selected on force construction. Please use MegaMek or Solaris Skunk Works to make these modifications.
Having faster moving 'mechs and those with Beagle Active Probes may result in better odds of coming out on top!
Named Units are exempt from force selection
'Mechs equipped with artillery/Arrow IV, and custom designs (beyond changing ammo) are prohibited.
Please have up to 2 copies of your 'mech sheets printed, and bring pencil, eraser and a set of dice. Should you not have these, a set of 'mechs, and supplies may be on-hand from the GMs
