Battle of the Shops RTI Edition Presented by Tennessee Off Road*The only rule for the shops is the vehicle must be Jeep based
This event invites shop owners to showcase their personal Jeeps with their ideal suspension setups. The shop owners will compete for the coveted bragging rights trophy, which will be awarded annually to the winner and passed on each year. This trophy serves as a symbol of excellence and can be proudly displayed to customers.
Scoring will be based on performance on a 30° ramp, taking into account the wheelbase, the angle traveled up the ramp, and the distance a tire is off the ground while remaining in contact with the ramp.
Looking ahead, we plan to expand this event to a larger venue to accommodate future growth, including additional features such as a show and shine, vendors, concessions, off-road courses, and more.
Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to test their vehicles on the ramp. Each participant will receive a bragging rights sticker with their score to display on their windshield. This sticker will serve as a conversation starter among fellow off-road enthusiasts, allowing for discussions about suspension setups and potential improvements.
The goal of this event is not to critique or compete against other shops or builds, but rather to unite shops and off-road enthusiasts, share stories, discuss builds, and exchange ideas in a positive and collaborative environment.
