Battle of the Brush 42: "Super Villains"
Live painting competition
About this Event

A live painting competition where multiple teams of artists compete in a time-limited competition before their spontaneous collective works are displayed and voted on by local art lovers and people in attendance.

How does it work? A group of artists are placed into multiple teams where they will blend their brushstrokes to compete for the Golden Brush title.

Then the brush-to-brush action heats up as each team of artists’ unique painting styles splatter onto the canvas. The creativity, then, unfolds into an impromptu gallery to be viewed and judged by the guests in attendance.

TED-D started producing electronic music in 1998. After falling in love with dj culture TED-D was DJing raves, house parties and night clubs as a part of the Slow DJ’s crew, while still in high school.

With a background of Big Beat, House music and Breaks he began to understand most dance genres' foundations were in HipHop music, As HipHop DJs were the first to loop grooves from vinyl. From there, TED-D focused on turntablism and producing hip hop style beats for crews The Groundbreakers and Loose Leaf Sessions. With these crew TED-D has opened up for artist Lyrics Born, J-live, RA the Rugged Man and Snak the Ripper.

Currently, TED-D teaches DJing and Music Production at Table Tutors DJ Academy, and Audio Engineers at The Vault Studios. TED-D is currently new original music as well as may collaborations. Look out for his album out this year “Big Beat BBQ EP” and “DVZ” a video game coming out in late 2024.
