About this Event
All Book Enthusiasts: Our Battle of the Books Competition for Adults is curated for adults like you who have a passion for literature, a thirst for friendly competition, and a desire to support literacy programs in our region.
Proceeds from the event will benefit The Dolly Parton Imagine Library (Reading Ready Pittsburgh - https://www.readingreadypittsburgh.org/dpil).
Doors open at 6:00pm, Battle starts at 7:00pm
Books will be announced around September 14, giving teams 2 months to read & prepare!
Here’s how it works:
· Teams will consist of up to 5 members each.
· Participants will be challenged with questions from a wide range of literary genres, including classics, contemporary fiction, non-fiction, and more.
· The competition will be structured in 3 rounds, with each round testing different aspects of literary knowledge.
· The team with the highest score at the end will be crowned the champions and receive prizes and, of course, a beautiful trophy!
