On WEDNESDAY, May 7th, join the Interact and Rotary Club for a BATTLE OF THE BANDS at the Paramount Center for the Arts at 6:30PM. SLIP TWISTER will be closing out this show with a rare performance!TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE!
The Interact and Rotary Club of St. Cloud present a Battle of the Bands competition hosted at the Paramount Center for the Arts! This is a fundraiser event for IMCCM’s Project 37, a non-profit organization with the mission to provide spaces and opportunities for all ages to perform and enjoy music. IMCCM is currently purchasing a building to turn into an all-ages and sober venue, alongside of a community-forward coffee shop and community space. All profits and donations from this event will go to support IMCCM’s Project 37 as they fulfill this goal.

This is an ORIGINAL music competition for MIDDLE TO HIGH SCHOOL age musicians! This competition aims to support the revitalization of the St. Cloud Sound through giving opportunities to the next generation of musicians!

- Ages 10-20
- 2 ORIGINAL songs to perform
- Must be available both evenings of TUESDAY, MAY 6th for rehearsal and WEDNESDAY, MAY 7th for performance
- Only 6 spots for bands!
- APPLICATIONS OPEN UNTIL APRIL 15th!
Bands will be entered into this competition through a submission process. After submitting your band's application, we will reach out and gather more information about your band. We will be choosing the final 6 bands on April 16th, and will send out confirmation emails that same day.
A panel of local musicians will judge the competition on a variety of criteria. The first place prize will provide the opportunity to the winning band to record their original music in a professional recording studio! There will be prizes for 2nd/3rd places, along with small prizes for following bands. Although this is a competition, we encourage the support of ALL participating bands and their music!

Interact clubs bring together young people ages 12-18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self. There are about 15,000 Interact clubs worldwide. That translates to over 340,000 Interactors in 145 countries. St. Cloud Crush Interact is sponsored by the Rotary Club of St. Cloud and was launched in 2021. The club’s 60 members are students at Tech, Apollo, Cathedral and St. John’s Prep.
Project 37 is a branch of the Independent Music Collaborative of Central Minnesota (IMCCM), which is a 501(c)3 non-profit. Project 37’s mission is to provide safe and sober spaces for all ages to enjoy and perform music. Project 37 is here to support the next generation of musicians and revitalize the original music scene in Central Minnesota. Since 2022, they’ve been hosting a variety of shows in the Greater St. Cloud area and beyond. Project 37 is funded by grants and any donations or cover charges received at shows or online. The grants received keep general operations running, but most of shows are funded by folks donating or paying to get into one of the shows.
