HEAT 6 FEATURES:

Imperial Zest

A 2 piece mutant funk outfit dishing out frenetic jams and more laid back tunes too.

Jam & Scones

The eclectic organism that is Jam & Scones are establishing themselves as one of Brisbane’s most funkalicious bands. If you’re looking for your every nerve to be electrified, you’ve come to see the right gentlemen. The Scones combine rock, funk, and reggae rhythms along with soaring horns and rich harmonies in their irresistibly listenable tunes. All of this culminates in the band's unique, grandiose live sets that are nothing short of spectacular. One thing people know for sure is that Jam & Scones are not to be missed.

Love St

Meanjin/Brisbane based Love Street place feelings at the core of their dreamy alternative pop as they weave between tender folk, pop-punk and energetic indie-pop anthems. Contrasting their lively sound, they explore the emotional complexities of love and struggles of every-day life with warmth and a constant glimmer of hope.

Led by songwriting & production duo Jack Woolrych and Ryan Gordon alongside Amy Marks and Patrick McClement, Love Street’s second single ‘Too Young To Die!’ is out now.

Swimming Carnival

Swimming Carnival blends Brisbane’s pool culture with world music, rock, jazz, and psych. Led by el delpha, the band’s latest EP, The House Cup, was recorded at Ian Haug’s (Powderfinger) Airlock Studios, mixed by Steve Kempnich, and mastered by Kelly Hibbert (Almachrome). With themes of personal growth and navigating divides, the EP delivers a vibrant sound with soft rock Australiana flavours. Following the release of The Great Divide, Swimming Carnival is ready to make waves and share The House Cup with the world. FFO: Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Powderfinger, Grizzly Bear, Real Estate
