The Phosphenes

Attention all mums, your favourite band has arrived! Hailing from the humble town of Caboolture, The Phosphenes put the power in power trio, serving a delicious blend of punk, power pop, and garage grunge.

The band looks to capture a raw and punchy sound, blending it with thoughtful and youthful lyricism to provide a fresh and energetic experience for listeners all over.

Since uniting as teenagers in February 2022, The Phosphenes have painted themselves all over the Brisbane scene, known for their ultra tight musicianship and electrifying sound. From pubs, clubs, festivals, or even skate parks, the trio have been making themselves known loud and proud in the Aussie music scene.

Velvet Lace

We're Velvet Lace, an indie 6-piece with a new lineup keen to return after playing 2 well attended shows earlier this year at black-bear lodge. Our style is inspired by artists like 'the Strokes', "Radiohead', 'Sticky Fingers' and much of contemporary Australian indie. Having formed in high school, our first gig being at our school's semi-formal we've developed a dedicated fanbase whose attended our shows throughout the three years we've been playing together, allowing for the development of a tight live sound. We perform a mix of songs from our debut EP 'Roadtrip', a growing collection of unreleased originals and covers from a variety of bands from 'The Cure', to Brisbane's own 'Girl and Girl'.
