The Battle of the Atlantic was the longest continuous military campaign of WWII, crucial to an Allied victory, as it kept open vital shipping routes to move supplies and troops between North America and Europe. Every year, on the first Sunday in May, we gather to honour the sacrifices and victories of Canada's Navy, Air Force and Merchant Navy during this gruelling six-year battle.
