Get ready for the Battle of Kettle Creek at Callaway Historic Site February 13-15 2026. Come join us as we kick off the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independance. Friday 13 February will be School days and all public, private and home schools are welcome. Saturday 14 February, we will be recreating the 14 February 1779 Battle of Kettle Creek in a living history about the mindset of the men the night before the battle which led to the only Patriot victory over Tory forces in Georgia and the turning point of the American Revolution. Come out and see interpretive historians and craftsmen and women weave, blacksmith and walk through the encampment of Patriots and Loyalist. Sunday join us for a Brush Arbor Service held out on the grounds just as the men and women did back then. We look forward to seeing you.
