Commemorate anniversary of the Battle of Carthage at Civil War Ranch. Camps will be open to the public from 9 - 5 on Saturday, June 15th, and 9 - 3 on Sunday, June 16th. The Battle reenactment will be held each day at 1:00 p.m. There will be military drills and demonstrations in the camps during the daytime hours. Walk around the camps and see what life was like in a Civil War camp.See how the ladies of 1861 socialized at the Ladies Tea and Musical Review on Saturday at 10:30 am., John Allin, a musical history reenactor, will present a musical presentation on the music of the Civil War Era.
There will be a Sweet Treat Walk on Saturday afternoon, and the Civil War Period Dance will be held that evening at 7:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
Church Service will be held on Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.
Be sure to visit the Civil War Sutlers and vendors and purchase your piece of history! Enjoy lunch at one of the food trucks or one of the other food vendors. There will be something for every member of the family.
Admission Fee is $5.00 per person and children under 12 years old are free.
