How to Join in:
If you are part of the Battle Honours Program at any Warhammer Store and need a Match Play stamp to complete your gaming tasks then you can book whenever you are getting your Battle Honours book updated at any of the Brisbane Warhammer Stores.
Bookings for everyone else will commence 9:30 am Saturday Saturday 9 November.
This event is limited to 18 players. So we will only be taking non-Battle Honours bookings in person at Warhammer MT Gravatt from 10.00 am on Saturday 9 November or over the phone or FB messenger from 10:00 am on Sunday 10 November.
Battle Honours Program participants have priority to join the event - all other places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Once all places are filled we will create a reserves list. To confirm your place to play you will be asked to reply to an email sent out the week of the event.
Event Structure
Play Three Games - at the end of each game you score Tournament Points determined by your result.
6 Pts for a Major Victory (A victory of 30 or greater VP difference)
4 Pts for a Minor Victory (A victory of 1 to 29 VP difference)
3 Pts for a Draw
2 Pts for a Minor Loss (A loss of 1 to 29 VP difference)
0 Pts for a Major Loss (A loss of 30 or greater VP difference)
**Note- If you are late arriving to the store for any Round, leaving your opponent waiting to start. Your opponent will gain 15 victory points for that game**
Favourite Game Score
Each participant will rank the games they played. You'll Earn 6, 4 or 2 Tournament Points depending on how each opponent places you.
Favourite Army Score/Best Presented
At the end of the First Round each player shall set up their force for the Parade of Armies. After the break, each player will vote for the top three favourite displays. Your final ranking for Best Presented will determine how many Tournament Points you earn for Best Overall. Armies not painted to a minimum Battle Ready Standard are ineligible to score here.
AWARDS:
Awards will be presented for the following achievements. Should it be needed the person earning the highest sports score will win any tiebreaker.
Best Overall: Champion of the Arena
Best General: Tyrant of The Warp
Best Sport: Codex Compliant
Best Presented: Chosen of the Council
Players can only receive one award. How we work out who gets what is based upon 1st place is the highest award possible and that person is the exemplar of our hobby and every other award goes to the highest achiever who hasn’t already secured recognition.
