The inaugural Iron Island Strongman / Strongwoman contest.
This contest has both First Timer and Novice categories. The First Timer event will be a fun competiton with entry level weights to invite those who have never thought of having a go to come and try Strongman. The Novice category is open to all that have competed up to and including Novice (for this event only that includes those that have podium at Novice in thier last comp).

Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 in each category.
We will crown the Island Kaukauwa!
Normal Strongman rules apply and referees decisions are final. This includes behaviour and language as this event will be open to family spectators. Only one warning will be given or points deducted.
Only athletes and officials and official photographer allowed in the competition area. No coaches or trainers.
spectators are welcome, £5 entry
There will be a covered athlete area and food available. The event will take part in the gym car park, there is plenty of parking nearby.
