Act 1:8 1Samuel 10:6The Holy Spirit gives believers the power to live like Jesus and be bold witnesses for him. How come we say we have the spirit of God and yet not transform inwardly and outwardly.
There are many ways that the Holy Spirit works in the lives of Christians, but they all share one common goal: to make us more like Jesus Christ.
He works in believers by renewing our minds to be like the mind of Christ. He does this by convicting us of sin and leading us to repentance.
The Holy Spirit also works in us through the word of God. He uses the power of Scripture to convict us and influence our way of thinking. He does this to shape us into godly people.(2 Timothy 3:16-17)
As we build a closer relationship with the Holy Spirit, he will also pull us away from things we have in our lives that don’t please him. This can be as simple as inappropriate music becoming distasteful to us because of the negative messages it brings.
Have you not been functioning outside the leading of the spirit of God ?
Have you truly been transformed?
Do you have the Holy Ghost in you?
