LAFD CERT Battalion 14 Monthly Community Meetings for 2025
Dates & Times:
May 17th from 10am to 12pm
June 21th from 10am to 12pm
July 19th from 10am to 12pm
Topics will be taken from FEMA CERT Curriculum. We will review different skills then break into groups to practice those skills.
May 17th Topic:
We will do a review on Incident Command System, Rapid Triage and Medial Tarp Assessments. Each of these skills were practiced at recent drills in Encino and Los Feliz. These are skills which can diminish over time - - so anytime you can practice, it helps!!
After the lecture, we will break off into smaller groups to practice and solidify:
1. Rapid Trige knowledge
2. Performing the secondary assessment called “head to toe”.
Other areas of focus, depending on time, Patient Priority and Documentation.
Location: CBS Studios, 4024 Radford Avenue, Studio City, CA 91604. (See attached map.) You'll enter through the Main Gate and then drive East to Building 7 across from Stage 18.
Because we will be at a working studio, we will need participants to sign a one-time Waiver before coming onto the lot. (See attached waiver.)
