Bats in Your Backyard Sponsored by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) and presented by the Woodlands Nature Station of Land Between the Lakes.On Thursday, November 13th, from 5:30-6:30 PM, join us for an in-depth look at the bat species of Western Kentucky and Tennessee. This program will highlight their ecological importance, current population challenges, and conservation strategies that can be applied at the local level. Participants will gain insights into roosting and foraging behavior, species diversity, and threats facing regional bat populations. The session will also provide practical guidance on supporting bats through habitat design and stewardship practices that contribute to healthier ecosystems.
This is a one-time opportunity to learn directly from regional experts dedicated to bat conservation and management.
